My work is evocative and lyrical. My work reimagines the botanical world. It translates the literal form of a flower into a visual dialogue of painterly discovery. I use a floral motif as a catalyst to explore memory and ephemeral emotions. Through an intuitive process of layering pigment, drips, splashes, and expressive brushwork, I weave a wordless narrative that shares my personal interpretation of the botanical story.
